The evolution of technology has made many companies shift their advertising strategy to a different medium. Nowadays rather than solely focusing on traditional advertising platforms, marketers have moved towards communicating messages about their products and services using online advertising platforms such as online websites. One particularly popular online advertising platform being utilized by marketers is social media. There are many studies about the effectiveness of using celebrity endorser in advertisements and the results shows a positive relationship but it seems that there are limited researches in social media as a medium. Since the increasing advertising budget was spend in internet, it had shown the internet advertising become prominent in Malaysia. With regard to the significance of the internet advertising to influence the consumer, this paper aims to assessed the impact of endorser credibility on attitude in social media advertisement. The study carried out in Malaysia using 200 respondents. Three elements to measure the endorser credibility, that are, attractiveness, expertise and trustworthiness. To examine the relationship, this paper employs a SPSS test that is capable of testing the relationship between the variables. The analysis confirmed that, attractiveness, expertise and trustworthiness is significance with attitude toward social media advertisement. Overall, the study provides supportive evidence on the impact of using endorser in social media advertisement and the results help businesses to formulate better strategy in advertising

Intrusion detection based on bidirectional long short-term memory with attention mechanism

With the recent developments in the Internet of Things (IoT), the amount of data collected has expanded tremendously, resulting in a higher demand for data storage, computational capacity, and real-time processing capabilities. Cloud computing has traditionally played an important role in establishing IoT. However, fog computing has recently emerged as a new field complementing cloud computing due to its enhanced mobility, location awareness, heterogeneity, scalability, low latency, and geographic distribution. However, IoT networks are vulnerable to unwanted assaults because of their open and shared nature. As a result, various fog computing-based security models that protect IoT networks have been developed. A distributed architecture based on an intrusion detection system (IDS) ensures that a dynamic, scalable IoT environment with the ability to disperse centralized tasks to local fog nodes and which successfully detects advanced malicious threats is available. In this study, we examined the time-related aspects of network traffic data. We presented an intrusion detection model based on a two-layered bidirectional long short-term memory (Bi-LSTM) with an attention mechanism for traffic data classification verified on the UNSW-NB15 benchmark dataset. We showed that the suggested model outperformed numerous leading-edge Network IDS that used machine learning models in terms of accuracy, precision, recall and F1 score

Adventure tourism: a study of Tunku Abdul Rahman Park, Sabah

Adventure tourism is one of the main travel activities in the world. For instance, adventure tourism is among the primary contributors to the economy in Sabah, which is undertaken by most travellers who visit the state. This study was conducted to identify the perceptions of the local Sabahan visitors regarding adventure tourism activities at Tunku Abdul Rahman Park. Other than identifying the services and activities offered at Tunku Abdul Rahman Park, this study also seeks to examine how adventure tourism activities impact the environment of the islands. A 300 set of self-administrated questionnaires were distributed to the local visitors of Tunku Abdul Rahman Park islands (Manukan, Mamutik, Sapi, and Gaya). It was found that the majority of the local visitors indeed know about adventure tourism activities and they were satisfied with the services and activities offered at Tunku Abdul Rahman Park. While adventure tourism activities are deemed unharmful to the environment as they are believed to benefit the economy, it remains imperative that the infrastructure on the islands be improved. This study will benefit policymakers and tourism operators in Malaysia, especially in Sabah with insightful findings for the Sabah Parks management and Sabah Tourism Board in undertaking promotional ideas that pique the interests of potential tourists to visit the islands whilst sustaining the long-term environment of the islands

In this paper we provide an application of neutrosophic bipolar fuzzy sets in daily life’s problem related with HOPE foundation that is planning to build a children hospital, which is the main theme of this paper. For it we first develop the theory of neutrosophic bipolar fuzzy sets which is a generalization of bipolar fuzzy sets. After giving the definition we introduce some basic operation of neutrosophic bipolar fuzzy sets and focus on weighted aggregation operators in terms of neutrosophic bipolar fuzzy sets. We define neutrosophic bipolar fuzzy weighted averaging ( N B FWA ) and neutrosophic bipolar fuzzy ordered weighted averaging ( N B FOWA ) operators. Next we introduce different kinds of similarity measures of neutrosophic bipolar fuzzy sets. Finally as an application we give an algorithm for the multiple attribute decision making problems under the neutrosophic bipolar fuzzy environment by using the different kinds of neutrosophic bipolar fuzzy weighted/fuzzy ordered weighted aggregation operators with a numerical example related with HOPE foundation
